Over the past 14 years, I’ve honed my skills in various kitchens, starting in fine dining, where I learned the importance of precision and technique. My roots, however, have always been grounded in the soulful flavors of the dishes I grew up with. Raised on soul food, I developed a deep appreciation for rich, comforting flavors. Along the way, I also fell in love with the vibrant and bold tastes of Jamaican cuisine, which has had a profound influence on my cooking style.

 

My passion for food is not just about cooking — it’s about creating experiences, telling stories, and celebrating culture through every dish. Whether I’m preparing a classic soul food dish or experimenting with Jamaican spices, I pour my heart into everything I make. Cooking is my art, and there’s nothing I’d rather do than share that with others.

 

De'Vette LLC is the personal chef and catering services company I founded, where I proudly serve as CEO. De'Vette LLC is not just a business — it’s an extension of my love for food, culture, and community.

 

I’m supported by an incredible team, including Brianna, who serves as both the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of De'Vette LLC. Brianna oversees all business operations and marketing efforts, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, while also lending a hand in the kitchen when needed. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and is currently pursuing her MBA. With many years of experience, Brianna has specialized in SEO and digital marketing strategies, helping companies grow their online presence and get discovered through search engines — a critical skill that helps De'Vette LLC reach and connect with our clients.
